Pesto Bolognese Pasta Shells Recipe From The Butchers Block

Recipe Ingredients

250g Pasta Shells
375g Frozen Mixed Peppers (or 2 fresh ones)
1½ tbps Olive Oil
1 Red Onion (Chopped)
500g of Butchers Block Beef Mince
1 jar of Tomato and Herb Pasta Sauce
100g Green Pesto
50g Mature White Cheese


Serves 4 Cook the pasta shells in boiling water as per instructions Chop the peppers, cover and cook in a microwave bowl for 2mins on full, then drain off any excess water. Heat the oil in a frying pan and cook the onion for 1 min, add the Beef mince and cook until browned, stirring as you go. Add the peppers, pasta sauce and pesto and cook for a further 2-3mins. Add the pasta and transfer to a baking idsh, sprinkle with the mature cheese and grill for 5mins. Enjoy
